Dr. Warren Martin graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1993 and immediately entered general practice. In 1994 he was awarded a Licentiate in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Warren’s interest in developing his clinical skills yet further has seen him combine working in practice whilst travelling across the world to study and train with world renowned restorative experts such as Professor Lorenzo Vanini in Como, Italy as well as ‘dentist to the stars’ Dr Larry Rosenthal.

As Warren started to implement new techniques he also sought further qualifications to heighten his knowledge of cosmetic and restorative dentistryIn 2003 after two years study, Dr Martin graduated from the University of Manchester with a Masters Degree in Prosthodontics following which he proceeded to teach the undergraduate student and supervise research projects within the University Dental Hospital.

Towards the end of 2004 Warren was elected as a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh before returning to University of Manchester in 2008 to undertake the mono-specialty training in Prosthodontics.

Since 2004 Dr Martin has been the owner and principal dentist at Greyholme Dental Suite just outside Cheltenham and has recently taken up a teaching position on the Masters Degree program in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics at the University of Manchester Dental Hospital.

Hello my name is Joanne. I joined Greyholme Dental suite as a permanent member of the team in 2012.

I moved to Gloucestershire from Birmingham in 2003, having qualified as a Dental Nurse, Practice Manager, Oral Health Educator I then qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 2000 from Liverpool Dental Hospital.

I am passionate about my job and aim to provide precision, gentle pain free dental hygiene in a relaxed and friendly environment.

I really enjoy working with patients who are nervous and helping then regain the confidence to attend regular stress free hygiene therapy and achieve a healthy smile you can keep for life.

I am a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy and Gloucestershire Independent Hygienists where I served on the committee for 5 years providing local Hygienists with continuing professional development courses.

I maintain my knowledge and skills as a dental hygienist by attending regular courses, conferences, webinars, reading journals , research papers.

When I’m not working I spent most of my time looking after the 3 boys in my life – Warren my husband and our 2 active boys Lucas and Ethan.

When I do have time to myself I enjoy swimming, walking, going to spas and enjoying going to pubs to sample the wonderful cuisine out there.

Hi, I am Leanne, the Practice Manager. I could start by telling you I have over 20 years dental experience (most of those are here at Greyholme).

I could go on to tell you I love fitness and I am a wellbeing warrior, my favourite book at the moment is E2 by Pam Grout. ( look it up !)

But in truth, all you need to know, is that I am passionate about looking after you, making sure you feel well informed and taken care of while you are here at Greyholme.

Harriet is our dental nurse who started with us in autumn 2017. She joined after wanting to pursue a career in dental from a young age.

She is a friendly and caring person who is looking forward to learning about the industry.

In her spare time Harriet likes to play the violin as well as the piano.

When she was younger she also did synchronised swimming and competed nationally. Nowadays shopping and meeting up with family and friends are her pastime.

Hi, my name is Emma and I joined the Greyholme dental family in April 2018. I have previously worked in the wonderful world of customer service for over 6 years, so I was thrilled to be offered the role of receptionist!

In my free time, I attend MSD kickboxing, with the hope of one day achieving a black belt.

My past times include thinking about food, dreaming about food and eating food.

Sarah joined the Greyholme team in 2025, though her connection to the practice spans many years. A highly experienced clinician, Sarah originally qualified as a Dental Hygienist at Bristol Dental Hospital in 1989. Driven by a desire to expand her clinical expertise, she returned to Bristol as a mature student to qualify in Dental Therapy in 2012. Her impressive skill set is further enhanced by advanced training in facial aesthetics at the renowned myFace Clinic in Cheltenham.

Sarah is deeply passionate about preventive dentistry and believes in treating every patient holistically. With years of experience in specialist periodontal practice, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the management of gum health. She is particularly gifted at supporting nervous or phobic patients, using a warm and realistic approach to help them feel at ease. Sarah also finds great joy in treating children, ensuring the next generation feels confident and comfortable in the dental chair.

Sarah stays at the forefront of the profession through her active membership in the British Association of Dental Hygienists and Therapists and the ‘Gloucestershire Independent Dentists’ group. She is a firm believer in the power of teamwork, noting that at Greyholme, “everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet” to provide the best possible patient outcomes. Beyond her clinical duties, Sarah is a compassionate listener and a dedicated mentor, having spent over 10 years supporting individuals through addiction recovery.

Beyond the Clinic

Outside of the practice, Sarah is an outdoor enthusiast with a zest for life. She is a keen fly fisher—a passion reflected in the name of her cat, River—and enjoys nothing more than sharing a fresh catch with friends. She is also a year-round wild swimmer, braving the local lakes regardless of the season.

Fun Fact: Sarah’s creative spirit once earned her an official busking licence!
